Brain... melting...

Every day I think of at least 5 things to blog. When I return home... I forget them.

Oh! Today a guy said to me, "So, South Africa, right? I had a good buddy of mine die in Cape Town."

I said, "Well, that's my home town. I'm terribly sorry."

People, stop killing the friends of old guys from Arkansas. It makes me look bad.

Popeyes is going well. (No, there is no apostrophe. It doesn't belong to Popeye. Nor are there many Popeyes running around with spinach. It is simply... POPEYES). I am not getting a balanced diet, but deep fried chicken has some value as nourishment. I dislike preparing the chicken for the fryer. It involves the removal of intestines, hearts and feather (only sometimes are there feathers).

The chicken is good. I still eat it and I have ripped the pipey bits out of thighs and breasts.

In other news: Derdriu is lvl 51.

Also, I have many wedding photos. These were taken by Tim Allen and Lisa Miller. I will post them soon is some fashion. They will be delicious.

That is all.

More Chicken Than You Can Shake A Leg At

I think I might have killed myself.

Death by chicken. Too much fat and gravy and grease.

Divine chemicals caressed my tongue with each gnaw.
Close to every leg bone I found a taste bud's treasure.

Too bad it was so high in cholesterol.

< Bottom Line > I need to exercise more (restraint) < / Bottom Line >

Updates

Here's some of what's happening in my life.

Job
I am in the middle of the beginning of management training at Popeyes. Mostly I have been preparing sides, handing out food and eating chicken. Of course, there's lots of remembering. I need to know many temperatures, many holding times and several measurements (all recorded in a system that I think should be forced out of existence). Soon I will have to learn how to be a hard-arse and how to force people to work terrible hours without feeling guilt or remorse.

Marriage
I fully endorse the institution of marriage.

World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade
Kristina and I have rolled many Draenei. Derdriu, my dwarf priest, is sitting up at lvl 49 right now and I have a lvl 24 Draenei shaman called Kveldulf. Fun is being had.

Bible Fun Times
I want to read the whole bible this year. So far I am behind (possibly due to a combination of chicken and totems). Feel free to drop me an e-mail to check if I am keeping up. I am SUPPOSED to be done with Genesis and most of Matthew, but I am not.

Hope things are well with you,
/Carl
