New Compy and LOTRO

Yes, I got a new computer. A LAPTOP, actually. It's very nice. Hopefully I can get back into the swing of blogging again now that I have a fun blogging instrument.

Got LOTRO. I am playing a dwarf minstrel. Something tells me this game will not absorb me like WoW did. It is very rich and exciting... but I can't see myself playing it for hours and hours on end.

STARCRAFT 2. If you've read any blog-like materials published by me over the past 8 years you'll find that before WoW, every post was about StarCraft. When SC2 comes out, my life will end.

Saw a couple good movies recently. First was "Stranger Than Fiction." Good writing, good acting, good directing, good editing. Fun film.

The second was "Pan's Labyrinth." It can be summed up two ways: Schindler's List with Fairies OR Clive Barker does Narnia. Either way, it was a good film. Depressing, but good.

In the Aftermath of "The Children of Húrin"

It took me an age and a half to read this book because of various distractions, but I finished it yesterday.

Awesome.
