Happy Birthday, Mommy

,
Today is Mommy's birthday. You are also 3 months old today. Three months! You've grown a lot. Here's a picture of you that I took before we went out with Mommy's colleagues and bosses the other day:

You are wearing a t-shirt that says "Daddy's Girl" and some lovely-loud pants and sandals. That's what happens when I dress people, Edie: sandals and lovely-loudness.

Anyway, we got Mommy a photo album full of pictures of you for her birthday. We also got her a lunchbox and I made her a cake. Since this is my first cake ever, it's probably good that you can't eat solids yet. Ok, here's another picture of you in that outfit:

Dr Horrible

,
So, I don't watch T.V.

I watch things on Hulu and Netflix.

Today I found Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. It stars Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion (of Firefly fame) and Felicia Day from The Guild. It is created by Joss Whedon.

I am a fan.

Flicker Fixer!

,
Thanks to T-Rev for the CSS code that fixed my flicker.

The page is coming together slowly and surely. I am making buttons for individual blogs and things and trying to come up with meaningful content at the same time.

Check back soon. Also, here is more Edie:

Website Overhaul

,
Started from scratch again. Went back to a unifying template to link the blog to my other ramblings. Still can't figure out how to stop the site from twitching when I go between my pages and the blogger page.

Oh well.

Here's a picture of Edie:

A Week with the Partricks

,
Kristina's parents spent just over a week with us here. We had a grand time. It was nice to have some family to share Hawaii with. Diane kept joking that they will be our practice relatives, since getting around was quite a struggle (unfamiliar roads that wind in ways you don't expect coupled with seemingly random construction projects being performed at absurd hours). Despite that, we all had a fantastic time. We enjoyed eating at several excellent restaurants. I may very well do a review of each in the near future.

As far as sight-seeing, we did manage to see The Valley of the Temple (wiki article), the Polynesian Cultural Center and the USS Arizona.

Here are photos of all five of us at a Luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
