SWEET.
GOLD.
BABIES.
Perhaps they should consider a different product name. Apart from the creepy cannibalistic implications, the name itself reminds me of a film I saw a while back. Looking at the pineapple, it didn't seem that small either. As long as it tastes like a pineapple and not a baby, I guess I'll be happy.

I found some Hawaiian wine at the Target off Salt Lake. I wasn't too sure what to expect from volcanic grapes, so I got a couple of bottles that looked really off the wall.
Behold!
The first bottle we opened was Volcano Winery's Guava Wine. It's apparently 50% guava and 50% wine. Hmmm. Isn't that a wine cooler? Well, it tastes like a cooler. It's super sweet, but pleasant enough if you're in the mood for a sweet white (which I wasn't at the time). The guava flavor doesn't fight the grape at all. Then again, many fruit juices use grape juice as a base, including a few guava juices.
Anyway, I gave my glass to Kristina and chugged a Coke. I'm not a wine snob, or anything, but it wasn't for me. I mean, I've tasted worse and at $15 a bottle this stuff isn't going to break the bank, but if you want something truly delicious and decadent I recommend some Maui Brewing Company CoCoNut Porter instead.
